The outreach team includes clinicians, scientists, and educators who are responsible for conducting workshops that raise awareness about NVLD, describe how it presents in school settings, and present techniques for helping school faculty support the academic and social challenges of children with NVLD. The members of the outreach team work together to integrate findings from research and practice in order to define NVLD, to develop workshops for educators and parents, and to pilot interventions in schools.
