Biography: Hi my name is Laura and I was diagnosed with NVLD when I was 12. I didn’t let my disability get in the way of fulfilling my potential. I went on to get an MSc, and work as a project/program manager for the United Nations, NGOs in West Africa, and large logistical companies in the UK. I want to be able to make a difference in young people’s loves that have been diagnosed with NVLD, and to raise awareness of the disability and get it added to the DSM!
What is your most treasured possession? My grandfather, he thought outside the box and made me laugh
