Biography: Hey! My name is Lasha Lance. I am currently 21 years old. I am currently going to school for social work and am already working in the field! I come from a big family , and have two cute doggies , “silly” and ” bandit”. I come from a small town and seriously love it ! I wanted to join the program because I have been diagnosed with NVLD, and know how it feels to feel different than others. I hope to make a difference.

Biography: When somebody meets me, they find out I love all types of music, cinema, and I can be a bit competitive. Minutes pass, while how loud I seem when I talk, or how silent I get as everybody else laughs, becomes apparent to which I reply, “I have NVLD.” I grew up with Nonverbal Learning Disability unaware I was living with it for many years. The day I discovered it began a path of uncovering who I am: an outgoing, ambitious, adventurous person who never gives up in a world of uncertainty.

What is your most treasured possession? My lyrics from my songs. It’s like writing a journal, yet with music to help tell my experiences and things I have witness. It makes me feel like my full self.
